Bad timing on this with the events in Iowa City.

Re: A Realistic Opinion of the ISU / Women Culture Scene.
Sorry buddy but according to the ISU factbook, women have comprised roughly 43% of the student population since 1998 at least http://www.public.iastate.edu/~inst_res_info/FB08files/PDF%2008/FB08-041.pdf
I've never had a problem finding female companions who are just as good looking as any other girls I've ever been around in this state and otherwise, nor have I experienced the apparent cavemen among the student population who publicly fight over girls.
I don't know what kind of experiences you've had but I feel sorry for you and this guy
Also, as stated, poor choice on the old timing

Thread definitely poor in taste...
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -

I have noticed that Iowa State gets alot of Minnesota girls, which is fine by me because I prefer the blondes of Norwegian decent. Iowa can have the Chicago girls and their big city attitude.

Exactly. I hate when people say that ISU women are subpar. I never had a problem finding beautiful women on campus. Some of the coolest women I have ever met were around my years at school. Some of them might not have been supermodels, but honestly does it matter? Guys who makes these negative comments about women tend not to be so great either. If you want some shallow barbie doll go somewhere else.

Being low on the athletic donation totem pole, we tailgate just across the street south of C.Y. Stephens. One of the truly fabulous things about that location is that it puts us in the path of a goodly number of students on their way to the stadium. Being an observant male, even though past 60, it's not difficult to notice that a fair number of the young women students are very nice looking. I know that every man has a different criteria of judgement, but from the looks in the eyes of my sons/nephews as the young ladies pass by the universal sentiment is "Dang, were there girls like these when I was a student here?"

The state of Iowa is dealing with this rape situation and you want to talk about the lack of "picking up women" in college..
Bravo......
Having been a grad of 2003 and in Ag... I can tell you that there are plenty of pretty, down to earth, intelligent woment at ISU.
Seriously I don't care when you went, or where you are now. This is just one of the most stupid threads I have seen lately mainly because of timing and then your lack of caring...
If there was a way to vote on threads and posts like people were asking about today, this might be in the running.
