This site got me laid off. Seriously

Well this isn't a story I'd normally share on the internet except for the fact that it's partially this site's falt (and cyclone athletics)

I've been working at Kmart for the summer. Anyways, since football season is coming up, along with school, I of course requested weekdays off until November. It was graciously accepted by my HR person a few weeks ago.

Well last week I realized I would have to take Saturdays off too, and requested. She reluctantly accepted, saying I would have to do some 8 hour shifts on Sundays. At this point it is a pretty shaky relationship.

I was up in HR yesterday doing some compliance videos and I figured it would a be a good idea to dabble some visits to cyclonefanatic in between the videos. WRONG! there was obviously a keylogger on the computer or something because I got a phone call today from my manager saying that they are going to have to let me go due to availiability issues.

I don't really care too much since I got other things to worry about soon anyways. I'm going to miss the money flow, but I'm only 17 and I got paid minimum anyways. Plus, Wal-Mart is 10 times better.

That was going to pay our way to Jamaica, too. I should've responded while I had the chance.

I worked at Culver's while in high school (Davenport). They paid decent and it was better than your typical fast food restaurant. Places like that are very flexible with hours too. Anywhere from 5-40.
