Recently, there are a lot of posts and new threads being started about those who can't stand the constant repitition of certain topics. Then the never ending streak of don't read it then, etc. ensues. Is everyone else like me and totally addicted to reading virtually every thread and every topic regardless if it's a topic that interests you here? To me, it can be like a train wreck I just can't help but look.
Cyclone
Iowa State became the Cyclones after they leveled Northwestern in 1895. As the Chicago Tribune (9/29/1895) noted:
'Struck by a Cyclone
It Comes from Iowa and Devastates Evanston Town'
agreed. i feel like i'm chasing the dragon on here sometimes. there are so many new threads that i don't have time to get caught up on the old ones! i'll never catch that damn dragon.
I usually only read the ones that interest me. Seems like most of the instate rivals are talking about rapers and I just don't want to read that anymore. Otherwise, it helps pass the time while I am at work.
I can see merging of threads on the same topic.... But when you have a completely different issue on the topic I think we are good to start a new thread.
Example with Iowa Threads...
Have different threads for....
Kirk Ferentz cover up
Reporting from papers
I think each merit their own thread and shouldn't be combined. If you have an opinion about one of them or closely related then post in that....
Not exactly rocket science.
