Re: More mainstream alien news
The Bible said death came about FROM and because Adam's sin, before that, the world was perfect, without sin and death. So in the evolution model...we have millions of years of death before Adam to deal with. How does that harmonize? I can tell you how it harmonizes but you probably don't want to hear it.

What is happening in the evolution debate is that science is filling in gaps in evolution, and creationists are then citing the resulting smaller gaps as proof evolution doesn't happen. It's a good strategy, because it strings out postponement of evolution acceptance ad infinitum.

That is only postponing their worldview, not mine My strategy is simple, God said he created the world and universe. He said how he did it in Gen Chapt 1 and preserved it in his Word for some 2000 years. He also gave of laws and commands to live by, he also gave us a conscience to know right from wrong. It's up to you to determine if you choose to believe that. In the end, everyone has faith in something.... "Unless a man is born again, he will not see the Kingdom of Heaven" John 3:3 -

I'll give you that.
I'm not going to go into the gaps that have been filled, but this pic sums up creationist strategy. And if someone can't admit that there are substantial gaps and imperfections in Christianity or any religion, then it is truly blind faith.

If you are going to post a "graph" but not give me something substantial in terms of the claims your are making. You create a broad stroke and peddle it as fact. What does this prove? You talk about blind faith....You appear to following the reasoning of: All matter, space, time, laws, ect....CAME OUT OF NOTHING....then....blew up.....(insert enough time)....then became an organized everything. Chaos produced order Non-life produced life nothing became something I have blind faith? Can't the same be true for you..... I doubt you're interested, though.
I'm bowing out of this one...I should have known better. I will just say that both sides don't have a perfect argument, because much is not known. I believe science brings us closer to knowing every day, and religion doesn't further the exploration. That's all. Take it as one opinion. I truly respect your persistence and devotion.
