    Murder in Ames

    KCCI is reporting a black male walked into a Casey's Store in Ames and shot the clerk, a female.

    I haven't heard of any other details yet.

    Wow, i almost went there about an hour ago since it is the closest convenience store to my apt. Yet I ended up going to the Kum and Go on Welch because I also wanted a Jimmy Johns sub. If I wasn't craving some JJ's I could be dead, this is just crazy and very sad. Prayers go out to the victim and her family.

    That was kinda my assumption. Domestic. I just don't understand how a gun solves any issues. Yes it takes human life away, but is it really worth life in prison?
