    Friday Night Lights returns on Directv

    NBC, UNIVERSAL MEDIA STUDIOS AND DIRECTV FORM BOLD PARTNERSHIP TO RENEW 'FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS' FOR A THIRD SEASON

    Ok So NBC will "eventually" get the new episodes but ticks me off that you can only see them first on Directv. I have Dish Network, what was so wrong with leaving it on NBC for all to see? I'm guessing there is some money to be made out of this somewhere...

    That article is dated April 2nd - so has that already been going on?

    EDIT - I now can see it's beginning Oct. 1st - but odd the article is that old.
