Is anyone exhibiting anything or participating in the talent show? I'm going to be showing my steer in the FFA show Wed night.

I'm going to be exhibiting my beer drinking abilities friday night....see how well it goes. I also expect to see many drunk fights during "east side fight night" this coming Friday. it's Des Moines East's homecoming aka East Side Fight Night at the fair

It will be the first since I was about 10 (14ish years) that I will not be exhibiting/presenting something. (Tear rolls down my cheek) Good luck with the steer!

I'm not exhibiting anything at the fair but my sister is sculpting a cow out of butter, and Shawn Johnson and some other stuff as well.

I think it's a different bull each year. Yes, the biggest bull winner will be there.

That thing was crazy huge. And then you could buy his um...spirits, around the corner to raise your own. What the hell would you do with a bull that big. He can barely move his tail.

I won't be exhibiting, but I'm helping out at check-in in the 4-H building tomorrow, in the Science and Engineering dept.

We are going down on Friday. Does anyone know where John Miller or Marty and Miller are going to do there show from this year???? We always like to go while they are there and have some booze.
