hes my hero. with a last name like costas, how could you not like the man
There are not many crowds or places in the country that have a better impact on the game than at Iowa State. The Cyclone fans are truly a sixth man. The place is so loud and always a fantastic crowd." - Former Kansas and current North Carolina head coach Roy Williams
I agree. I usually tense up and become gassy via all things political, but I did enjoy that interview.
Dumb poll. Not to mention, all hair is already dead - so it's hard for Costas to die his hair.
Now he might dye it though...
You can certainly have your opinion on the poll but I do think it is interesting that a guy I consider to be pretty "substantive" seems to be coloring his hair for certain and, it is my guess looking at his face, seems to have had a face lift. I am mildly surprised that he would do either or both. I just find it interesting and, frankly, was curious if others thought he was doing (or had done) either.
I have always enjoyed Costas' work...both in sports and out of sports. He used to have a really solid late night interview show that was not exclusively sports oriented back in the 90s that was great. I do think he sometimes tries to be a little too "cute" with his comments but overall he does a solid job.
By the way...good job out of you...in spotting the first error I have made all year!
I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.
