I agree. We're really looking like sore losers.

No ****. Shut up and move on already (not directed to anyone here, a general thought about the coaches/media/fan whining about this). We've got a pair of gymnasts prepping for one of the biggest moments of their lives. Don't dwell on what can't and won't be changed - at least for right now when more competition looms ahead.
Brandon Knight was pitching in the bigs two weeks ago, now he's getting rocked by the Koreans... wow...
Did anyone else notice the one China Gymnast that was missing teeth. My teeth came out later then most and I lost my last tooth when I was 12. There is no way that they are 16!!
The past is over. Both Karolyi know this. They are doing this to make sure that our gymnasts get treated fairly and scored fairly in the all-around competition. They are not trying to be sore losers, they are putting the world on notice as to what is really going on. China deserved the gold. Did they use underage girls? You bet. Don't bring your weak excuses, just look at them. 16? Some look 12 to 13 at best. Scoring has been suspect, and now it seems the officials were playing games too. "Go, no wait, no you can go now, oops, wait again". You don't think that might make a little difference in how you perform, no matter how seasoned you are? What our coach is doing is the same thing as a BBall coach getting on the refs early in the game to ensure that their players get treated fairly during the game.
here is a resolution on the Chinese girls, it makes no difference what we say or state. The federation requested the passports and they stated that they we of age. Then again the government can do anyhitng they want to make them of age. Until there is a way to determine the age of anyone, we are all stuck with it. So lets move on and realize that if they are cheating, then it is up to the community to request an investigation on it. I do not believe that the USA will request an investigation and therefor they decided to let it be.
Don't mess with Alicia.

The gymnastics scoring procedure has been rather messy. I've noticed several times where competitors were ready to go, and then got held back, or where there have been unusually long delays between performances.
If computers can't make it more efficient, then maybe they should go back to holding up the little signs...
If they wanted to make the judging equal they should put the judges in sound proof boxes at different locations on the planet (not the host nation) and give all judges and participants the same camera angles as well as only showing each performance once. Anything less is just politics.
