Re: Metallica to play WF on 10/26
Saw Metallica in Hilton in '04. Well worth the money.

Re: Metallica to play WF on 10/26
I saw them at Hilton about 4 years ago now. Not worth the time or money.
Edit: Haha. I think C&G and I disagree on this one.

Unfortunately, it hasn't been 1990 for 18 years or so now.

I saw them at Hilton as well 4 or so years ago. Huge fan, but that conert was shameful. The Parquet was barely full, balcony wasn't even touched.
Now I saw them at Hawthorn Race Track in Chicago, now that was a good concert.

Re: Metallica to play WF on 10/26
They just need to remember that they haven't written any good material since 1995 or so and then they'd be fine.

I am still holding out for Fine Young Cannibals to come here.

Re: Metallica to play WF on 10/26
They tried to push all their new crap when everyone clearly wanted the old. Maybe one of their better songs was played.

Now I saw them at Hawthorn Race Track in Chicago, now that was a good concert. Will the attendance be any better for this concert? It seems to me they're just another four years older, and playing in a more expensive venue. I bet they'll have trouble filling Wells Fargo halfway.
