I would take a dog only if it was good at hunting, never barked, and liked to spend a lot of time outside. I would take a cat if it was fat, lazy, didn't bite, didn't shed, and was potty trained. IMO, dogs are good for hunting and cats are good for something to pet when your sitting on the couch watching tv. haha...
They're a lot like cats, honestly - you can potty-train them, let them run around the house. They're just quieter.
My friend lived in Legacy one year. He had a rabbit. It was funny because when the rabbit would eat its food pellet it would literally poop a slightly digested pellet like 10 minutes later.
One day he got drunk and dropped it from his balcony four stories up. Somehow the rabbit hit the railing on the story below and fell into the balcony safely. The girls on the 3rd floor kept the rabbit and took care of it.
