RV parking in Des Moines

Was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to park their RV in Des Moines during the week between games? We've found Capitol City Storage that has a bunch of RV spots and on 141 just north of Urbandale but was looking for some other places possibly to price compare. Anyone here know of any?

Last year we just drove it to a friend's farm just west of Waukee but with gas prices, the time it takes to drive out there, and plus one of us (not me thankfully) bunged up his fence pulling out the lot once so not sure it's worth the time and money or if we are even welcome back actually!

I have storage for RV's in Cedar Rapids and Marion. But I would imagine that would be a little more out of the way for you lol.

What size is the RV and what are they charging per month?

I just went through the same thing. I settled on Big Boy's RV Storage located on NE 58th between DM and Ankeny . It was the cheapest and least out of the way for me. It's $195 for 6 months. I looked at several others but settled on this one.

If it is an ISU decorated RV then I would suggest parking it in front of a home with lots of Hawk yard ornaments.

Do they have monthly rates? 4 of us own this thing and during non-FB season one of us has a shed to store it in but it's clear up near Clarion so doesn't make sense to store it there during the season since he usually misses most of the games due to having a weekend mail route.

This place didn't have monthly rates but other places do. I'm in the same situation, my parents can store it after football season so I just decided to park it from July-December.

Many of the monthly rates were $40-$50.

Yeah, that's what we are seeing so far around the $40-50 range too for monthly depending on the size of the rig.

That is the prices we charge in Cedar Rapids and Marion $35-45 per month depending on size.

You guys should consider yourselves lucky cause it is alot more to store RV's in other states.
