Ok, make me sad. I was drifting real nice today on a river of pleasantry. Thats a horrible story.
I could have done w/out the picture...
they couldn't cut the ball around it?
That is initially what I thought too but after reading the article after they got the ball removed the tongue was so swollen that he couldn't get it back in his mouth. The swelling never went down because the circulation had been cut off for so long. That is an absolutely horrible story. No the dog has to learn how to eat and drink water with no tongue. I was reading the article while my 7 month old golden retriever puppy was laying at my feet and I just about started crying. :sad:
Wow, how heartbreaking. I hope passionate pet owners will join me in the mass email requested by Chia's owner.
Please copy/paste the following into the body of your email in support of this boycott and send it to the address below to let Allen Simon the CEO of four paws know your stand;
Mr. Allen Simon,
I am in support of a boycott of your company until you recall the product pimple ball with bell,
as it is designed is such a way that irreparable damage can be caused by its use.

Dang that sucks. Heck without a tongue almost would have been more humane just to put the dog to sleep. Don'g dogs also sweat out of their tongues? Can't imagine how it is going to stay healthy enough to eat and drink without it?
This is why cats rule! You never hear about no cat losing his tongue.
Wow, that video was heart-breaking to watch and see him whimpering in pain.
How could that lady not have been smart enough to poke a hole in the ball and pull it off there. I think the company should be held accountable, but I believe the owner could have prevented it had she been smarter and faster about it.
The dog vs cat stuff that keeps coming up reminds me of the kindergarten "debates" of who has more cooties - boys or girls.
Sad story for that dog.
