Is South 4th Still closed by Hy-Vee?

Is South 4th Still closed by Hy-Vee? wondering about game day traffic so I can decide which routes to take in and out.

It is, but it sounds like they are trying to get it open by the Kent State game, according to the City of Ames website...

I hate having that road closed, I didn't realize how often I use it, but it's a major pain.

And I, Bruno, will dive 1,000 feet into a block of cement. On my head, yet!

I live in that area and we had a neighborhood picnice last weekend. At that someone mentioned that they hoped to have it open on Sept. 6th. So hopefully it is open by then because that is the date of the Kent State game.

I'm sure that street being closed will cause some problems for people getting to and leaving the game. Fortunately, it won't affect me because I can walk.

Not sure if any of you have been by there, but it will be a Christmas miracle if it is opened by the next game.

That is going to suck. That road relives allot of pressure off of University.

You should live off of Duff. Takes us forever to get home, and we live like 6 minutes away.

I work for the university and my office is on the west side, having Pammel drive closed is the biggest irritation I've had for awhile. It would not have been that bad if I just had to go and come back, but I have to drive allot for my work. In fact I put on about a 100 a day in my work vehicle, and I never leave Ames.
