Does anyone know if Dish Network's DVR equip allows you to record OTA programming? I think Direct has a function or did with one of their boxes.
I just called to switch and my wife reminded me that Dish and WOI aren't playing nicely together right now and we could be missing Lost. Once I pointed out we could still do OTA she responded...we can't DVR....I drew a blank on whether you could or not.

DirecTV has that feature available on all of their HD DVRs, though the HR21 requires an extra box to make it happen.
I have no idea about Dish.

I have a DishNetwork ViP 622... I CAN record OTA programs. The only problem right now, is they are in a contract dispute so, not Guide info... have to do manual recordings.

They have news on woi? I thought it only turned on for lost and heroes, and then the janitor turned the power off.
