Off-brand Laptop Batteries

So, the 9 cell battery on my Dell Latitude D620 has reached the end of it's life. I have no complaints about it (great life, ran cool, etc.) except for the fact it's now a brick after 2+ years of excessive use.

Battery replacement was only covered in the first year of my three year warranty, so I need to purchase a new one. The same Dell branded 9 cell battery is priced at $299. To say the least, I'm looking at after-market brands. Does anyone have any good experience with any of these? I don't want to spend $80-$100 on a crappy one just to go out and buy another one when I could have shelled out the money to Dell in the first place.

i bought a replacement battery off of eBay for half the price of what hp wanted to sell one to me. So far it works amazing. I have no complaints.
