    Flight of the Jet Man

    Did anyone just watch this on TV? Someone just jumped out of an airplane and had some sort of device that turns him into a human jet. I guess he is trying to fly from Dover, England to France? I am not sure but it is incredible to watch.

    That BBC link has a cool pic of the device. Little flashback here--wasn't it the early/mid-80's GI Joe figures that had a device like that that plugged into the little hole on the back of the figures? I swear it looked just like this guy's jetwing.

    Mr Rossy had hoped to reach speeds of 125mph. It felt "great, really great", said Mr Rossy: "I only have one word, thank you, to all the people who did it with me."
    Obviously math is not a strong point for jet pack pilots.
