Bank Jobs

Just wondering how to go about getting a job at a bank. I have a year of accounting experience, but would like to get more into banking. I'm interested in risk/credit analysis or portflio management. I would probably wait until next summer to start a new job, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to start getting some ideas.

What are some good banks to work for in the Des Moines area? How difficult is it to get a job with a bank?

I would have to recommend West Bank in WDM, then again I am a little biased...

I would try looking online at job postings. Carrer builder, Des Moines Help wanted, Iowa Jobs. Most banks anymore post their jobs online, and will not help you much if you call or walk in asking about jobs.
