I can't say I've been influenced by anyone in the Top 10.

One of those has influenced me to the point that I'm making a point to vote for the other on election day even though I don't care for that person either. So, yes, I guess one of them has influenced me. I thought it was supposed to be in a positive way, however.
But let's keep this out of the cave!

LOL...I hear ya. Yes, please don't put this in the cave. I was only making a point that if you vote, you were probably influenced -- positively or negatively.

I couldn't get past the galleries on the right side of the page to even look at the top 10. Good Lord. AskMen indeed.

Phelps deserved this. Also, Christian Bale is a stud.

Somebody is getting a strongly worded letter... That sucks. I got a letter that said I came in at 149,744th. At first I was sad, but then I realized that still put me in the top 99% so I was happy.

Christian Bale, Robert Downey Jr (how many times has he been busted for drug-related crimes), a soccer player, and Gordon Ramsey (I love his shows, but come on)? I'm sad people are so influenced by some of the people on this list. Perhaps it should be most entertaining or who do you like the most.
Maybe I'm missing the intent of this list.....

Re: 49 MOST INFLUENTIAL MEN OF 2008
I would say Barack needs to be on the list. I know of many who are voting for the first time, simply because of him. Pehaps he hasnt' influenced you, but there was record turnout for the Caucuses and Primaries mainley due to him and I would expect the same with voter registration as well.
I don't drink the Kool-Aid, and I am done making excuses. Only keeping it real...
