Any hunters?

Are there any other hunters that post on this board?

Between the wild game I've shot on my property and all the wild game that's been given to me in exchange for the right to hunt on my property, I'll be eating steak for quite a number of meals.

i cant wait to get back and do some serious freezin in the stand. i need some time to clear my head, and a weekend with nature would be just the thing. unfortunately, my honey hole is like 8 hrs from here...

A friend and myself tried this once. But on the grill it looked like a rat.

I love pheasant hunting, but since I moved to SE IA from NW IA, it has not been the same. No way I go out tomorrow unless they open up a special season on vehicles with MN or WI plates. It is pathetic how easy and cheap it is for out of staters to get IA licenses. If I was to go to WI or MN to hunt I would have to pay out the *** for a license.

I'm excited about going pheasant hunting again tomorrow morning. Doubt we'll see much seeing how 75% of the corn is still in the fields. Oh well, its still fun to get out with the boys and have some fun. I also can't wait to get another set of racks on my wall and put a lot of deer meat in the freezer.

Just started a few years ago, been Bow and Shotgun deer and turkey. Been wanting to get into pheasent hunting but this doesn't seem to be the year to start. No real interest in waterfowl.

Almost out of all my deer meat from last year...

Hunter's breakfast at 7, hopefully find a few birds, and then off to tailgate. Could be a great day and then again maybe not. It sure beats working though.

The elk, deer, and antelope populations are incredible in Northwesten Colorado. Its also incredible how many hunters visit this area to hunt these animals.

anybody ever tape their hunts? I recently got a new video camera and a whisper mic and have been thinking about getting a stablizer mount for my bow to mount the camera. Anybody tried these? Know where to find them?
