    Nice, I got it for $2.14 today in Ames, but we're always higher than Ankeny/Des Moines for some reason. Here's to sub-$2.00 gas though!

    I saw that last night coming home from work. I'm getting pretty excited about these low gas prices, but how long will they stay that low.

    According to the news last night we have the cheapest gas in the country. Not some of the cheapest gas, but the only gas below $2.00.

    I'm going to start filling every container I have with gas, just in case. Baby bottles, sippy cups, tupperware.

    Gas is so cheap that I filled up the empty milk jug and this is what we use on our cereal in the morning.


    Milk - $3.49/Gallon
    Gas - $1.99/Gallon

    No brainer!

    I wonder how many people signed up for the 2.99 a gallon guaranteed from Chrysler and Jeep? I hope they post a list so we can snicker at them.

    My friends and I were going to go to walmart and get some big trashcans and fill them up. And save them and sell them later.

    REAL gas is still just above $2. It's ethanol that is 1.99 (which includes all the subsidies).

    Either way...nice to see it continue to drop.
