Worst injury you've had...

So I just watched the video of the cart taking the wide receiver last night and read the ESPN article and cringed...What's the worst injury you've had?

I'm going to go with a torn groin during football/cross country my freshman year. Gave a whole new meaning to being blue balled all day from a freaking ice pack

Took a charge in high school, got a knee in the chest, cracked my sternum and hit my head so hard on the floor I got a concussion... Guy who did it went on to be infamous for this...

Tore my plantar facia a couple years ago, thought I got shot in the foot...still bothers me.

knee surgery my junior year... pretty much ruined any shot at me playing basketball at my high school again.

I had too much to drink once and stuck a stick through my foot. 3 years later some wood surfaced in a bloody mess. Ahh... College.

Oh, were you talking about SPORTS injuries???

I was going to go with my ACL/MCL rupture from '05 - but I saw this and remembered....

I was cut by jumbopackage once. Cut me real deep.

But seriously, I'd rather avoid any sort of knee injury in the future. Suckage.

I've made it through pretty easy so far...

Broken nose in HS, due to a bad hop grounder is the worst I can come up with, except for various papercuts, which are excruciating.

Torn ACL/ sprained MCL. They ended up taking some hamstring tendons instead of my patellar because my growth plate was still open and they wanted to give me a chance to grow some more. This led to recurrent hamstring problems during track, and I'm still not any taller.

That wasnt the other one I was thinking of... Course the knee was probably worse overall... "You never hit a man in the pills."

In order from most pain to the least (relatively speaking)

1) Ligament and Tendon damage in left knee playing a pick game of football at ISU
2) Broke my right elbow two weeks ago working out at the gym (I fell and hit a weight bench)
3) Plantar Fasciitis in BOTH Feet at the same time
4) Threw my back out moving while at ISU

Shattered the bones in my left wrist about 10 years ago playing hockey. I was cutting in front of the goal and got hit low, and then the goalies weight and my entire bodyweight landed on my elbow. Put your hand on a table with your elbow up in the air, and now think of 400 lbs landing on it.

I still cannot do pushups because my wrist does not bend right.
