On a side note, did anyone hear him say that he was going to use the attorney general to mandate a playoff system in college football!

As far as I know, both candidates support cellulosic ethanol.
As far as biodiesel goes, the pus behind that is to utilize waste material (like grease from friers) do a quick chemical reaction that will make it more like diesel and use it. It should have largely the same chemical energy as diesel, as C-H bonds are C-H bonds, no matter the source.
