Mepo...the people I know from that area are big drinkers...they tell me there is nothing else to do there! That said...this guy needs some serious help!

I knew a softball coach/AD at a small school in SW Iowa who had around 6 DUIs and was still employed. He had a breathalyzer in his car for pete's sake.

Sounds like this guy is well on his way.

My basketball coach in high school had 2 OWI and is now being charged with sexual assault

Drinking: Is fun as long as there is a safe environment.
Drinking and Driving: Horrible and penalties aren't strict enough.
Drinking and Driving and endangering a child: Words can't express how disgusting that is.

I'm still wondering what the 17 year old was doing in his car if she wasn't drinking???

I think the previous post was in regards to the first time he got picked up when his kid was in the car with him

And the parents decided not to press charges???? Either there is a lot more to the story that somehow changes the slant of the story or these parents are messed up.

Charges filed/not filed by the parents would be the very least of the worries of that cat if it was my daughter he was trying to pick up drunk at whatever time in the morning he was there. His teeth in his stools the day after I found him would be a bare minimum............
