High school football facilities superior to what ISU has
The Massillon (Ohio) Tigers have an 80,000 square foot indoor training facility and a 18,000-square-foot sports medicine building.

Before anyone freaks out, it's bigger than what the Cleveland Browns have as well.

Re: High school football facilities superior to what ISU has
I would not doubt it if they were not the only HS with better facilities.

Re: High school football facilities superior to what ISU has
Massillon is an elite football program. 22 state championships. I heard about them all the time when I lived in Ohio.
That is an amazing facility.

Re: High school football facilities superior to what ISU has
Considering Massillon hosted one of the original NFL franchises (as well as nearby Akron and Canton), and considering that area of Ohio is still absolutely football crazy (ever been to the Pro Football Hall of Fame?), a high school in that part of America spending that much coin on their football program really doesn't surprise me all that much.

I'd like to see what other HS's have an indoor facility, even in Texas, I doubt too many, if any.

People like to think that high school sports is "big" in this state...think again. While Iowa is in rush to finish their football playoffs in what seems like record time, playoffs are just starting in Texas and will go well into December. http://newsok.com/article/3257395
another article, this time from USA Today on just one high school in Texas. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/preps...-carroll_x.htm

There was a movie made about Massilion and their football program. When they make one about Iowa State maybe we will spend the same coin. "Profanity is the Crutch of Inarticulate Mother ****ers"

Re: High school football facilities superior to what ISU has
I've been in the Jenks Facility and it is offices and weight room, not a practice facility.
Most of those are baseball/softball facilities because of them having that season in the spring, probably start practicing in early Feb.
