"Before police shut down the store, eager shoppers streamed past emergency crews as they worked furiously to save the store clerk's life." :no:
Good thing Americans have taken to the real meaning of Christmas.
This story shows how pathetic our society has become.
was he one of our DBs?
****ing pathetic :no:
Something tells me that man's life is not equal to the $10 dollars that you would save on a flash drive, or the $100 saved on that t.v.
Way to go Wal-Mart for handling things the right way!!
To be semi-fair... if you've ever tried to help somebody in a stampeding crowd it is damn near impossible to do (I've tried to help somebody who got knocked over rushing the field once... I about got trampled myself trying to block the crowd long enough for her to get up)
By the time you realize someone is there it's a little hard to stop everyone behind you
That said, I have my doubts that many people tried to do much about it... especially the ******** still rushing through while the paramedics worked to save the guy
Oh and having 2-3 more employees at the door probally wouldn't have helped anything...
When they know the students are taking the field, they move Permar people out of the way of the student section for reason.
Still pathetic that this happened in the name of buying crap though :no:
I hope this story gets a ton of media attention. Perhaps there will be a bit more organization that is "regulated" on this big shopping day.
Eh, what am I thinking...that won't happen.
$ > Life
They should charge all of the people that helped trample him. In my opinion that is manslaughter. They have it on video I presume since Wal-Mart has everything on camera.
People need to be punished.
Yeah, I don't blame Wal Mart although they may have been able to take some precautions. I do blame a bunch of greedy people. Didn't they take the doors off the hinges? Pathetic.
