if you arent a fan of metal thats fine.. but **** off from this thread. i mean seriously. dont rip a great bunch of musicians just because you dont like the style as much as others. there is a very large number of people who do love metal.
and as for the most popular song which someone asked before, these are my 7 favorite ever:
1. Wait and Bleed
2. The Blister Exists
3. Heretic Anthem
4. Duality
5. New Abortion
6. Before I Forget
7. Three Nil
If you offered to pay me $45 to go see Slipknot, I still wouldn't go. I'd rather sit in my garage and listen to my chainsaw and lawnmower at the same time. BUT... that is just my personal taste. They obviously appeal to a very large audience.
In defense of them abandoning Iowa, I am almost certain that their last album was recorded at a state-of-the-art sound studio just outside of Jamaica, Iowa. I'm sure they could have recorded that at any studio in the world that they wanted.
and yeah.. slipknot has never abandoned iowa. they love this state.. they are proud to say they are from des moines and they have done countless things in support of their home state fans
just got 5 tickets kids!!!! so pumped.... wonder how fast its gonna sellout
bummed i can't go bills more important i guess lol
I'm still debating whether I can afford to go or not... I guess I"ll find out around New Years.
true that they are pretty pricey... $44 for a floor ticket and since i ordered online theres like $8 in other charges.. then an order charge and mail charge... ended up an average of $53.40 per ticket for 5 tickets
well Kiss, Ted Nugent and Skid Row is a loaded show... $70 doesnt surprise me for that.
Slipknot and Slayer... that would be sick. In des moines they are with trivium, and i am a huge Trivium fan as well, not as big of a fan of them as i am of slipknot, but still will be a great show
