Coheed and Cambria........ odd line up
There are not many crowds or places in the country that have a better impact on the game than at Iowa State. The Cyclone fans are truly a sixth man. The place is so loud and always a fantastic crowd." - Former Kansas and current North Carolina head coach Roy Williams -

Got to see them in Houston this summer on the Mayhem Festival. They are still putting on a killer show!!! But I must say Disturbed was really on point that night.

Re: Slipknot at Wells Fargo
Seems odd that they would get Wells. I can't see them opening up the balcony, but then again they've had other similar shows there and not opened up the balcony.
Yes I realize that Slipknot is big for Hard Rock, but they are not on the same level as Nickelback, Bon Jovi, Paul McCartney, etc when it comes to crowd sizes.
A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player. -

I'm just wondering because there were tens of thousands of us at the race track in Houston to see them. I would have a hard time thinking there was less that 20,000 at that concert. Although there were many acts as it was an all day thing.

Dude they have sold out major areas all over the land. Not to mention they are the highest saling mental band in history and I mean real mental bands not hair bands.

Re: Slipknot at Wells Fargo
I would love to see them sell out Wells, I just think it's going to be difficult due to the economy, seasonality, supporting acts, etc. I know they've sold out some big places, but historically hard rock and metal bands have not pulled well in the DM area. I know they're local, but that only goes so far.

Re: Slipknot at Wells Fargo
Well they have repeatedly sold out the biggest venues in the country - including several times at Wells A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player. -
