The Duggar's just had child #18 and want more

Well, as long as they are paying for them themselves, more power to them. I'm still of firm belief though that before "Global Warming/Climate change" kills any of us, our population will will reach proportions of unsustainablility. Basically, I think we'll run out of food and energy long before the climate takes it from us. So, personally, I see no reason to do anything but replace myself on this earth.

I agree that it's a tad irresponsible to have so many children, overpopulation is going to be a big problem in the future.

People talk about that and it may be true, but someone might want to talk to certain countries in the Eastern part of the world then. India's population is exploding compared to most places.

Do I think this family is out of touch=Yes

Do I think they should have a ton of kids=As long as they pay for them it's their choice

The one thing I will say is that people like the McCaughey septuplets make me want to puke. We kept hearing that this was gods will. No gods will didn't put fertility drugs in your pie hole. Also, you're little experiment caused your kids to have life long illnesses. I was also ****** that they used the kids to get all kinds of free things.

I mean they got a free college education for all the kids, a free van, a free 5,500 sqft house

I'm fine with people having as many kids as they want as long as they support them without handouts.

Another thing that irritated me about the Macaughey's was the dad worried about supporting them, but didn't want to have to drive to Des Moines to work. They live in Carlisle for crips sakes, that's like a 20 minute drive to downtown. Besides, they ended up selling that house 2 years after they moved in.

I feel very strongly about this. I think it's completely irresponsible of them to have 18 kids. If you want to have a million kids, fine, go right ahead. But why don't you have 8-10 of your own and adopt another 8-10??? There are so many children out there in need of a good family and you feel the need to boost your ego by having enough kids for two full baseball squads...
