Because it is not considered a contact sport, a cheerleader who fell when she was not propertly spotted by another cheerleader, can sue.

I disagree with the ruling... I think if the cheerleader is knowingly putting herself at risk she shouldn't be able to sue...

And no cheerleading is not a contact sport. And the cheerleader should not be able to sue for the incident.

It's actually Gymnastics. It has nothing to do with Cheerleading. They put on cheerleader outfits but it group Gymnastics. Cheerleading basically only exists in high school.

Also, cheerleading is not a contact sport, but the girl doesn't have a leg to stand on if she sues- unless she can prove negligence (which is very hard to do.

HA, it is NOT gymnastics! My daughter does gymnastics and college cheerleading is no where near. In fact, besides the Navy Seals, I don't think anything is a tough to do as gymnsatics. It's crazy what gymnasts can do, just crazy sick........
