Ended up buying a 26 " Insignia which is Best Buys brand yesterday. Paid $299 for it and am happy with it. I can get the main HD channels over cable with the tuner. Really wanted to get a Panasonic because Consumer Reports rated them well, but they just never seemed to go under $500. The Insignia was #2 on their list and what a great price.
