    LP prices

Those that live in the rural area, what price are you paying for propane this winter? I got charged $ 2.18/ gal. last week. Its getting mighty expensive to heat a home.

    Re: LP prices

Obviously, some folks that contracted, the price for LP has come down at the wholesale level from levels this summer. Be happy that your retailer will lock in prices for you, because over the last 15 years, far more often than not, you are saving money this way.

    Re: LP prices

I locked in at $2.12 this summer also. Got my refill a couple weeks ago and it looked like the price was (had I not locked in) $1.70. Nuts. But, JonDMiller makes a good point...this has to be about the first year in almost forever that the price has not gone up. Crazy.

    Re: LP prices

I'm paying $2.15 in rural Colorado.

That's a considerable improvement over the $4.95 per gallon I was paying for fuel oil in Alaska.

    Re: LP prices

Locked in $2.19. Was surprised to get a letter from the gas company stating they were going to issue a credit of $.15/gal of remaining gallons on my contract. They go on to say they are not obligated to do so which I thought was obvious. Also stated they would continue to evaluate this due to the falling price of LP. Nice gesture by them.

Hope next year they don't won't a nice gesture by me!!!

Locked in at 2.02 - current price is ~1.76. But as stated, usually locking in is a much better option.

I thought CDs pretty much killed off LPs?

Paid $2.12 at the end of Dec. Filled at $1.95. Dried corn at $2.05. Got my woodburner fired up last week so have not used a drop since.

40-50 bucks for the LP and CSF analysis; the anesthesia is where they get you.

    Re: LP prices

Filled from two different suppliers last week. One was $1.35 and the other $1.75.

Couldn't get a reason for the price differences.
