Good News to Share!
I got some good news last week. I had my 6 month doctor checkup. In the time between this one and the last one I got a call from my doctor's nurse that I could stop taking my cholesterol medication and at my latest checkup my doctor told me I can stop taking my blood pressure medication. At this time last year I was 286 lbs. taking medication for cholesterol and blood pressure at age 27 and now I'm 28 weigh 186 lbs and no longer on medication.

Congratulations! Doesn't it feel great?
You need to give us your best "People who were freaked out by your weight loss" story.
Not to hijack, but here is my "before"
Here is my "after"
If you feel comfortable enough, post up yours.

Basically eliminated fast food, soda potato chips etc. from my diet. I was at 286 April 16th last year and was at 186 around Nov. Since I have yo-yo ed between that and 200. I went to the gym twice a week, now I'm up to 3 or 4 times, and yes taking diet supplements - which does help but if you don't commit to a diet and exercise plan they won't do much. With today being Super Bowl Sunday I'll let a Kurt Warner quote do it best: Kurt Warner ~~ "Most times when you do something great, it's not overnight. It's not something that comes easy. Re: Good News to Share!
I've lost 16 pounds in the last month. My cholesterol has dropped 40 points since November!!!! I almost had to go on Cholesterol meds, so I decided to make the change.
The hard part is that I was SUPER skinny when I was in HS/College, so it was hard to just not eat whatever I want to. Now, I am eating 1400 Cals/day and exercising 4-5 times per week. I have one day where I eat WHATEVER I want to. It really helps me to keep up during the other days knowing that I can have some of my favorites on my free day.
Good job to you! Everyone can do it if they want to!
Just in case you didn't know... I'm a girl. -

Just a terrific job, please accept my hearty congratulations. And to get it done while you're young before damage is done to your health, so much better.
I'm in my 50s, but thru daily exercise (weights and running) and careful dieting (I'm a vegetarian these days), I feel as good now as I did in my 30s. I'm constantly surprised by this.
So, let me guess, you feel like you're in your pre-teens now? (grin)
The family doctor told me that he counsels target weight and ideal weight; few clients make it to ideal weight. Maybe you have? You must be close. Again, wonderful news.

Great job dude. I've been doing farrell's for a year now and it's unreal to see some of the accomplishments people have. It's inspiring and I can't imagine how hard it is.
