You would rather have the NFL make money off of you then have it go to people who actually benefit from it?
I wouldn't want that gear...it would be a novelty at best...I think it is great that this program exists! For some reason I always thought they destroyed it. I am surprised we don't hear more about it.
Is anybody concerned about revisionist history? NFL win-loss records have no relevance for posterity, but just think about future archeologists digging this stuff up, or something slightly less trivial? Cotton t-shirts don't have the longest shelf life, but it makes one wonder does it not?
I'm thinking of a "Lost" scenario. Your plane crashes on a small island. The locals are all wearing T-shirts that say, "Chicago Cubs, World Series Champs." You swear you've been either thrown forward in time or back to 1908. Turns out, they got close, not close enought though and just donated their gear.
It's okay. Physics says that all possible scenarios play out in parallel universes...so the Ravens did become 08 AFC champs, the Cubs have won many World Series titles, and yes, the Cyclones have won NC in several sports.

No.
I remember someone (Bob Costas?) saying how weird it was going overseas and seeing kids running around in Buffalo Bills Super Bowl Champions shirts.
If you have a keen eye and watch documentaries on national geographic, pbs, etc... you see this quite often.
When I see them I like to think how ironic it is that a shirt that was destined to be worn and cherished for a lifetime by Karl Malone ends up in a 3rd world country covering someone who eats rice twice a day.
