Somebody claiming that they bribed him to take down his critical blog post about the company behind my favorite commercials:

Blogger: Cash4Gold tried to 'bribe' me - The Red Tape Chronicles - MSNBC.com

Not really much there, but it came across my screen, and, you know, I just had to pass it on.

How does someone think they can barter with them once the gold is already sent in? That seems like a bad bargaining position.

One of my wife's co-workers sent in a bunch of necklaces, a couple wore-down rings and very nice bracelet from a former relationship...and she got a whopping $12!!!!

Apparently Americans will do just about anything if you put it in a commercial.

1) They buy those stupid Snuggie thingies

2) They keep buying crap from guys like Billy Mays and that idiot ShamWow guy.

3) Send gold jewlry through the MAIL to a COMPANY THEY HAVE NEVER HEARD OF, that they TRUST will mail them a fair amount back.
