Do you really think they are going to shut the doors permanently ?
They are either going to get a government bailout or they are going to go through bankruptcy and screw the stockholders and to a lesser extent the bondholders. Once through bankruptcy, they will have a lot less debt which seems to be what is weighting them down.
Any business with large amounts of debt coming due is going to be in the same situation.
The automakers started this whole load of Bull that bankruptcy meant the company was going out of business permanently. Think what the surviving airlines have done after going through bankruptcy.
