Well that didn't take long!
EchoStar eyeing struggling Sirius XM | TV, movie and music news | Current Affairs | EW.com
I just added my car the other day after the 1 year free. The girl on the phone mentioned that they were raising rates in March, so I might want to lock in the lower rate.
I thought I was talking to the cable company, hmm crapier service for a higher cost.

raising prices is really going to kill them. i dont think i will renew once my year is over. but it doesnt seem like they are going to make it that long anyway.

My Sirius hasn't been working for a month in my car. It gives me a toll free number and says to call Sirius, but all I ever get is a busy signal!

It sounds like they are just putting pressure on Dish Network to buy them out. Sirius XM will be around for awhile.

Not to mention the issue of cellular data coverage vs satellite radio. When I get out on the open road, I always have satellite radio, cell phone signal, umm, not so much.
