Just upgraded to itunes 8 and now it will not open when I click on it. It acts like it is going to open, but doesn't. No error message. Seems to be a common issue.. anyone else having this problem. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

You should only use Apple software because it will never break.

mine has done that a few time, but ive found out that it still opens in the system tray. if that is the case, just click on the icon in the tray and it should open up
If the rest of Apple software runs like Itunes, no thanks.
mine does that to when I update it. I've found that by deleting the desktop icon. Then restarting my computer and then dragging from the start menu the itunes file over and opening it up on my desktop that it seems to work.. hope that helps
