Ok. Well, in a nutshell, I'm looking at two different mafias, with four people in each. There are three neutrals, and five innocent specials. The rest would be unknown. In the set-up that I've concocted, I've got 16 role players. Ideally, we'd get up to around 25. That would make eight mafia, three neutral and at most about 13 innocents. That would mean about 8 plain innocents. I don't know how forthcoming anybody would be with these roles, however.
Two of the neutrals could end up in a mafia if the correct mafia "hits" them. The other neutral will have a similar role to OJ and the psychopath from the previous games, with kills each night. The head of each mafia has an instakill, and if they hit a particular player, they get one more immediately. The innocents have varying specials.
I don't know. I think it looks pretty good? Just need to have enough to have at least 5-6 plain ol' innocents, though...
Very interesting concept. It's hard to say if it will work or not without seeing in the format you see in the opening posts of the game thread. Like this.

Roger Goodell – Commissioner (Commish) – isu_oak
Al Davis (Raiders) – Can use the power of the “dark side” to protect one mafia member each night from being killed by the Vigilante or discovered by the cheerleader. Can’t pick the same person two nights in a row. Can self-protect.
Bill Belichick (Patriots) – Can steal the signals of the Cheerleader, S&C Coach, or Pat Tillman, and render their ability useless for the night. Can’t pick the same person two nights in a row.
Terrell Owens (T.O.) (Cowboys) – Must mention (bad-mouth if possible) a remaining mafia member during each voting period, or he will die. This can’t just be a voting tally or something stupid. (Added rule: Gets a one day free pass from mentioning a mafia member that can be taken any day.)
Michael Vick (Falcons) – Must mention something to do with dogs at least every other voting period, or he will die. Can be very vague (use the word pause [paws], unleashed [leash], spot [common dog name], etc). Please PM the Commish to see if it’s acceptable. Can be outed by the Cheerleader.
Drew Rosenhaus – Agent – He's as dirty as they come. Can recruit Randy Moss to the mafia. Gets one chance per night.
Mascot – Spy – Can see what’s going on behind the scenes. After the first night, they will learn the identity of a mafia player chosen at random. If that mafia member dies, they will learn the identity of the first special or mafia to PM me the following night, and so on. Will not learn the identity of O.J. (Added Rule: the Mascot (Spy) can NOT learn the identity of the final Mafia member.)
S&C Coach – Doctor (sort of) – Gives one person a shot of “juice” each night. If the person they dope up is the subject of a mafia hit, “Roid Rage” will ensue and a random mafia member will be killed. Can’t protect the mascot or the same person two nights in a row. Can self-protect. Shot giving can be blocked by Belichick.
John Madden – Village Idiot – Votes as normal, but his vote does not count because no one takes him seriously. If the people vote him off, he gets a kill of his choice.
Cheerleader – Detective – Uses her “coercive” ways to learn if someone is innocent or mafia. Has a soft-spot for dogs. If she investigates Vick, she will go to the cops and his identity will be blown. Investigation will occur at night. Use of investigation can be blocked by Belichick.
Pat Tillman (Cardinals) – Martyr – Can sacrifice himself to resurrect a dead innocent. The resurrected innocent can not be killed the following night. Can't self-resurrect. Can sacrifice at any time, provided Belichick did not steal his skills the prior night period.
Innocent or Mafia
Randy Moss (Vikings for now) – Traitor – Starts out an innocent Viking. Will become mafia if he is either 1) targeted for a hit and the Raiders’ Al Davis or the Patriots’ Bill Belichick is still alive or 2) recruited by Drew Rosenhouse.
O.J. Simpson (Bills) – Vigilante – One kill each night…gloves optional. If he is the subject of a mafia hit, must have PM to the Commish before the mafia hit is sent. If investigated by the Cheerleader, will be shown as innocent.
Rules: No editing posts of any kind! Days are 9 AM to 9 PM. Nights are opposite. Friday 9 PM to Sunday 12PM is one night. Only mafia can PM amongst themselves. Need to average 3 posts a voting period (over a 2 day period) or else you have a career ending knee injury and die. Must explain your vote. If you miss voting twice, you have a career ending knee injury and die. 1,000,000 credits split among mafia, innocents, or OJ....as long as someone tells me how to do this. Commish can edit his own posts. I'll add/change rules if need be to close loopholes...even during gameplay.
I understand if you wanna keep it more secret but like last game some people found a few loopholes after the roles/rules were posted. Like I said, I think your game sounds very interesting with a lot of weird twists. It sounds like everyone has some interesting advantages.

I'll see what I can do, regarding getting people signed up, and actually figuring out exactly how I want to run the game. I'll work on it the next couple of days and see if I can get it started on Tuesday...
How many were you targeting for?
