I'm not sure either, BET.
I was just on another site and there was discussion that some states do not allow H8 in any configuration, and that a guy had tried to get GLOK M and was denied. Duh. Go figure, right?
Anyway, there are so many clean plates out there, that are witty and/or clever.

I used to see the ISU plates HUKDFOX in Campustown, and wonder how that one slipped by the DOT. What, they thought his name was "Huck", and he was nicknamed "Fox"?!!

I remember seeing that plate. It was on silver car. I laugh everytime I think about it.

I used to work at the car wash in Ames and there were lots of great plates.

A camero once had TI 3VOM ("move it" in the review mirror)

I see one around the Quad Cities that says "CYCLOWN" (guess which kind of vanity plate that one is) - you have know idea just how badly part of me wants to key that car...
