Marty and Miller Stirring the Pot

So...keep in mind the source, but Marty and Miller were "reporting" rumors that Harrison Barnes will attend a prep school next year. I believe they said it would be Oak Hill. They were suggesting that Duke wanted him to do it.

Also, they did a terrible interview with the UNI baseball coach. Marty spent the whole interview explaining to him why no one cared about collegiate baseball (which may be true, but was incredibly abrasive/again nothing new).

Sorry if this has been posted already, I looked and didn't see it.

I heard Marty and Miller talking about Barnes possibly attending some prep school for his senior season. So it doesn't sound like it's a sure thing. They say he has nothing left to prove in high school.

There is absolutely NOTHING to this...Zero...Nada....it's just Marty wanting to hear himself talk...evidently to host a sports radio talk show you don't need to know what you are talking about, and you can just make up ridiculous rumors and throw them out to the public to try and earn ratings...I GUARANTEE Barnes is back at Ames next year-go ahead and quote me if you want.

I'm done listening to Marty and Miller.

I've never listened to M&M before today and this is what I heard from them. They have nothing more than their opinions. They said that this will be the last season HB can be seen wearing an Iowa high school basketball jersey. This is why you don't eat paint chips.

No reason to lump Kenny into this opinion. Marty was the one claiming this, Ken said he didn't buy it.

The guy who called in and said Ames High was one of the best academic high schools in the nation was equally delusional.

I play a game where I write down anything that Marty says will happen and then I laugh with glee when it doesn't come true. This will be one of those times. I'm also hoping that two teams from the Valley make the NCAA tournament (Creighton and UNI) so that can be rubbed into his face too.
