    They have filled in for Jon Miller in the past and it isnt great radio. That being said no sports radio show in Des Moines is that good.

    No, I listened to KXNO a lot this summer and every other promo mentioned being in the top 5 and how all the other markets were so much larger than Des Moines. It's food for thought, I enjoy listening to KXNO.

    It's very easy to be top 5 in the ratings when you have no competition. People listen to KXNO because the only alternative for sports talk is 1700. I'll bet KRNT has better ratings than KXNO during the day in the summer.

    Fales and Murphy would NOT be able to carry a sports radio show... Maybe a morning drive, mix in some music like Big Ken and Colleen but they just don't know sports enough to carry 10-15 hours a week.

    No kidding. These guys don't even watch games. Nothing against them, but they don't. If I wanted to listen to sports talk with a host(s) who doesn't watch much sports, I'd stream KXNO from 2-4. Atleast M&M pay attention to a variety of sports locally and around the country.
