The place (forgot the name) on Ellis Blvd in CR that had a deck over the River, right near the park (maybe 12 years ago).

4 trips and they couldn't get a frozen fish 'patty' cooked through. Each trip took 30 minutes.

I had a pulled pork sandwich at Mustard's in Ankeny that was not good. Not too many came to mind, which I suppose is a good thing, but that one still sticks out.

Some of those deep fried craw dad stuffed sandwiches in new orleans and Cuban sandwiches in a Jacksonville Mom and Pop are not much to write home about.

The one and only time I will ever have a sandwhich or anything from Mustards. It was a grinder that was on a hot dog bun. I dont know how they are still open here in Ankeny.

I got a crappy double cheeseburger from McD's awhile ago. It was so bad, I have never gotten one since. Other than that, I like McD's.

I had a chicken pesto sandwich from Sam LaGrassa's in Boston . . . the same place that has the Cuban that I nominated for my favorite sandwich . . . it had about 5x more pesto than it should have had and I had to throw it away, it was just gross. It's still an awesome sandwich place though.

No kidding!! I finally tried White Castle in January. A razor thin piece of brown stuff on a grease soaked bun. No wonder they call them "sliders". I knew they were greasy, but figured they had to taste pretty good for as much press as they get.
Harold and Kumar had to smoke a lot of dope to want to go there.
