I was wanting to get some new clubs. I looked at the X22's and they felt pretty good. I also looked at Taylor made, Mizuno's, Cobra's and Ping's. I would like peoples opinions on which route to go. I have a set of X20's that I like, not love, but like.
ha golf is the best but money is an issue so i usually just get the cheapest most reliable clubs
I have Nike ignite irons and love them. Really improved my game.
Spend some decent money though, and you can't go wrong.
I treated myself last year and got the Titleist AP-1, which reminds me a lot of Calloways. It's for us 14- handicappers, but I'm loyal to Titleist and felt like paying up.Quote:

I'm not a big fan of square drivers, but that's just me. They work, or they wouldn't make them. I just can't get over how ugly they are, and the fact most of them sound like you're banging a trash can lid with a stick.
I also don't like flying saucer shaped putters, or belly putters, or long putters.
I personally avoid pretty much anything by Taylormade just because I like to be able to get some sort of resale out of my equipment and you're pretty much hosed the minute you walk out the door with the latest R series driver.
Basically, if you can buy it at Rock bottom Golf, there's a good chance it'll be next to worthless within 3 or 4 years.
But, again, golf equipment is a pretty personal thing. Take a half dozen 7 irons out and see what you like.
