Before you resent/envy too much, remember that dogs exhibit coprophagia. He may be doing something else after that nap.

Both my dogs are Border Collie/Heeler (one is 75% Border and 25% Heeler while the other is 50/50). Border Collies and Heelers are my two favorite dog breeds so I figured why not get a dog that combines the best of both breeds.
And I've not been disappointed to date. They are incredibly active and intelligent dogs.
Yea, she was a rescue from the humane society in phoenix AZ... She's basically looks like a border collie on steroids. Her fur is half as long a typical border collie, but she has a much sturdier build. We go to and off leash park and she plays with a couple of border collies there. She's actually faster, but not nearly as agile. There have been a few times where she's inadvertently plowed into a few dogs at the park going after her frisbee.
