Two guys who know about Iowa (the state of Iowa sports) would be a nice change.

Haven't listened to Jon Miller or the M&M doinks for a long time now. Figured I'd be tempted to see what they were drooling about from time to time but would rather listen the Glen Beck then the crap they fabricate.

I liked that Marty said Norwalk would lose by 30 tonight to Wahlert ... I'm as shocked as everyone else that he could get something wrong since Norwalk was winning by 12 with 1:30 left in the game.

Glen Beck may be the only radio/TV guy I am less apt to listen to than Mike & Mike.

man, am I glad I live in eastern Iowa were it is all Hawks all the time. At least the radio guys over here just spend time talking up Iowa, and don't have an agenda for ISU. This way I can just avoid sports radio all together. Like tune anyway.

This is a bad time of year to listen to them as well. They dont really care for Bball, they love to talk baseball and football. They just start stuff to keep people interested til baseball starts.

I usually listen to that Great American Sean Hannity then M&M but my ADD doesn't allow me to listen to commercials so I usually flip over to them during commericals breaks. Unless it is almost turkey hunting season then I listen to my cd that has turkey calls on it.

No, Jon needs someone that knows Cyclones and baseball to help carry him through half the year. I like that Marty and Miller give a local flair to national and regional sports. Another purely local show would have nothing to talk about...

Re: So Cyclonefanatic posters are now cockroaches?

I tuned in for just a few minutes today and Marty was talking about Carroll HS in the tourney. He went on to say something about the youngest Haluska and how KF is after him as a QB and he could be a future hokeye. Did I miss something where he eliminated ISU or where CPR wasn't interested? No one even is sure that the kid is a D1 recruit yet, but those fools just assume that if he is, he's already eliminated ISU. IMO he'd be LUCKY to get an ISU offer.
