I do this too.....I think over the last seven years at least 3 comfy sweatshirts and a few tshirts have become mine...... -

Re: Old Things from Exs
All I know is, if I had had a girlfriend sophmore year of college, a few of my favorite shirts would have disappeared, thats for sure.
Actually there is probably a reason I didnt' have a girlfriend then - my "favorite shirts" were from 1997, and they *used* to be white.
Children's large or adult small I think...
I'm being generous when I say they were threadbare and had a few holes...

Guys don't do this to women and their clothing, so why do it to us?

I haven't taken tshirts for a long time. I think I did that just when I was being lazy.

All things make you who you are. Burn them or not, it makes no difference.
All truisms are false. All of them. -

Re: Old Things from Exs
I moved in with my fiance 2 years ago and took the opportunity to trash all the old junk left over from old girlfriends. A few pictures got burned due to bitterness but I am over it now.
As for my stuff going missing, it seems everytime the apartment gets cleaned something else of mine is missing. 90% of the time she just puts it away, in a place I would never look, but a few things have yet to turn up.
We are getting maried two weeks from tomorrow so I expect that more of my stuff will find the garbage can after that.
Edit: Word of advice for anyone thinking about getting married.... elope! The wedding industry (and it is an industry) is a giant racket designed to seperate you from your money.

On a sweeter note, while going through some of my stuff from when I was a kid, my wife found a love note from a girl who had a crush on me in Junior High in an old school book of mine. Now, I never found the note, so I didn't know that she had this crush.
MrsPhaedrus was all "aw, that's so cute!" and stuff.
I just want Mary Bodholdt to know that it could've never worked out, because she was tall and very pretty, and frankly, I was scared spitless of her because of that. I played Romeo to her Juliet in the Junior High school play and it about killed me to say my lines, I was so intimidated by her.
Plus, I'm already madly and passionately in love with MrsPhaedrus.

Re: Old Things from Exs
I had an ex go through my stuff when she was house sitting for us. She found my 90's SI swimsuit calendars and put notes on them saying get rid of them. FYI, I still have those and I dont have her.
