Good grief... you realize that that number would make up about 0.0000001% of all births in this country, right?

I would say that the influx of Roman Catholic citizens of Mexican heritage that don't believe in birth control is as much of a contributor as anything.

In general:

Population growth = more women = more births = population growth = .... (and around we go)

I don't see this as any amazing surprise.

Yeah what they need to look at is the birth rate per capita, not the over all birth rate.

I mean we have a record number of people in the country right now, vs our previous high birth rate like 60 years ago... obviously there are some differences here
