What's better is that Drake is destined for the cellar of the MVC next year so hopefully they stay there for a long time. They could take UNI with them if they wanted.

I was listening about a half hour ago and Marty and Ken were arguing about something said earlier in the show. Marty said (paraphrasing) "go back and play the tape from 9-10." Ken responded, "How about 9:05 to 10." LOL!

Good point. I would say yes. (Wonder if KCCI ended up doing so with Pete, Gary Dolphin used to be sports anchor for ??? in Dbq). There was alot of talk last year about reporters and their political leanings and contributing, and it impacting the objectiveness of their reports. Not sure why sports reporters should be different.

However, I think the jobs are different in that WOI is news and KXNO is opinion. And it's CLEAR that the outside affiliations at KXNO impact their opinions. I'm biased, but I don't see that out of WOI or John. (not that I ever watch WOI news)

But I still can see the conflict of interest.

Wonder if the FCC will air an opinion on this incident?

And I'm surprised that KXNO mgmt would tolerate such behavior by it's employees. Can any of you imagine such a blow up in your halls without serious ramifications.

(unpopular opinion ahead)

The lynch mob is out in full force. Generally, I couldn't care less. Obviously it was dumb. It was also a mistake. If they get fired for it, so be it.

But I don't see the need to get up in arms over this or celebrate in their dispute.
