    Older Cyclones fans - let me just say you guys are the best...and I don't know how you do it, but I plan to do it as well. Every year in Ames I see some dedicated elderly Cyclone fans and think I get frustrated with things now and wonder how they have done it for so long?

    I don't understand how you can have all teams that do the same thing to you. It'd be one thing be a fan of a team that always sucks...kinda like being a Cleveland Indian fan in Major League (first 30 mins of movie.) But to be a fan that constantly builds you up to pull the rug, ouch. Dallas has done that to me extremely lately and ISU almost killed me in '04 and '05. At least I know the Cardinals won't go long as long without getting over whatever their preverbial hump is at the time. Iowa State couldn't break into the big 12 champ in FB two years in a row and Dallas can't win a playoff game, if I didn't have the 2006 St. Louis season I probably would just hate sports and what they do to me.
